The Start of R & J Jeans

Welcome to our blog! I would like to introduce myself and tell you how we started our business. My name is Jennifer Otero and I am a co-founder and CEO of R&JJeans. My partner in crime is co-founder and CEO, Rachel Broderick. We met when we were in an e-commerce class while studying abroad in Spain. We both have that entrepreneur spirit and while working on a project in class we decided to create a business for people who are struggling to find those special pair of jeans. Every woman struggles to find jeans that fit their waist and hips. Personally, we both struggle to find that special item. I am really skinny and short so, most jeans I find are really long and big for my waist. Rachel on the other hand struggles with being so tall that many jeans are short on her. Everybody is different and special. We work to give every woman a chance to shine with their fitted jeans. I’ve learned that it’s not about how skinny or curvy you are but if clothes are tailored to you and you have the confidence to work it you will shine inside and out.
